Vision & Mission Statements

We will embrace all identities, abilities and cultures and provide each member of the community with the support they need to achieve success. We will educate through a unique lens that sees all students as individuals while fostering a sense of belonging in our community. We subscribe to the belief that cultural inclusivity is essential for academic, social and emotional development for all.

P373R provides a structured school environment for optimal learning for students with special needs in pre-K to 8th grade in 6:1:1, 8:1:1 and 12:1:1 classroom settings, as well as inclusion. We offer programs in both Standardized Assessment and Alternate Assessment and provide multiple entry points for each child in order to engage in common core aligned or connected curricula. We engage all students through small group instruction, implementation of Universal Design for Learning strategies (see below) and aligning or connecting practices with the common core standards and shifts. Student’s IEP goals and behavioral needs are individually addressed. Self-help and social skills are included into the daily curriculum in order to enhance each student’s overall development. Collaboration between staff, families and agencies gives all students the opportunity to participate in best practices that will enhance each students overall academic and social development.
