What is the Save for College Program?
The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program provides NYC families, schools, and communities with a way to work together to invest in our children’s future education. It is a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more affordable and achievable for all NYC public school students.
Through the Program, your child has a free NYC Scholarship Account with money already set aside for college and career training expenses, and opportunities to earn more through rewards and Community Scholarships. NYC Kids RISE, a nonprofit organization, manages the Save for College Program in partnership with NYC Public Schools and the City of New York.
